1. Provider and scope

Services are provided by EMANOEL DOS SANTOS BARBOSA JUNIOR, Portuguese tax identification number 295525991, under the ALIEL Studio trading name. These terms address the development and design services presented on this website. SaaS products, including future services such as ZIBENT, require their own terms and privacy information before they can be contracted.

2. Proposals and acceptance

Contact through the website, email or WhatsApp is an enquiry. Before acceptance, the proposal must identify deliverables, features, content, included revisions, exclusions, the total price, taxes, payments, timing, support and recurring costs. A contract requires express acceptance of the terms provided on a durable medium. Browsing this website does not amount to accepting a contract.

3. Price, domain and external services

Advertised prices are starting prices, subject to the agreed scope. Final prices for the scope specified in the proposal. VAT exemption under Article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code (CIVA). No VAT is charged while this regime applies.

Websites and landing pages include a domain. The domain is registered in the client’s name, with one year included. Renewal is communicated in advance and quoted separately. Hosting, maintenance and other subscriptions or licences must be specified in the proposal, including whether they are included, their duration and renewal terms. Additional charges require prior information and the client’s agreement.

4. Timing, content and changes

The advertised average delivery time is three working days and varies by service. The actual deadline, starting point and dependencies on content or approvals are confirmed before work begins. Scope or schedule changes are presented for agreement. Silence is not treated as approval.

5. Delivery, access and rights

The proposal must explain delivery of files and access credentials, domain ownership, licences and rights to use the work. Clients must be entitled to use the content they provide. Portfolio publication or promotional use of a client’s name requires a separate agreement where necessary.

6. Project privacy and security

Do not send passwords, payment data or live databases through enquiry messages. Where a project involves processing personal data on a client’s behalf, roles, instructions, access, suppliers, retention and return or deletion must be agreed in writing before that processing begins. These terms do not replace that agreement.

7. Consumers and withdrawal

Where distance-contract rules apply, consumers generally have 14 days from conclusion of a service contract to withdraw. The required information and statutory withdrawal form must be provided before the consumer is bound. Starting work within that period requires the applicable express request on a durable medium. Loss of the right following full performance is subject to the legal conditions, including prior consent and acknowledgement where required. A customised website does not automatically remove withdrawal rights.

Any proportional charge for work already performed depends on the statutory conditions. Specific digital-content and digital-service rules must be assessed where applicable. No provision removes mandatory conformity, termination or refund rights.

Withdrawal communication template

Use this only if you wish to exercise an applicable withdrawal right. You may copy and send it by email or post. This template is not mandatory for exercising that right.

To: EMANOEL DOS SANTOS BARBOSA JUNIOR, Rua do Cabo 7, 8125-213 Quarteira, Faro, Portugal, [email protected].

I give notice that I wish to withdraw from the contract for this service: [identify service and proposal]. Contract concluded on: [date]. Consumer’s name: [name]. Consumer’s address: [address]. Date: [date]. Signature, only if sent on paper: [signature].

8. Cancellation, support and liability

Cancellation, support and maintenance terms must be specified in the proposal. There is no blanket rule that payments are non-refundable. Liability is governed by applicable law and valid contractual terms; mandatory rights and liability that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. Sales results, search engine rankings and freedom from incidents are not guaranteed.

9. Complaints and applicable law

Enquiries and complaints can be sent to [email protected]. See the complaints and ADR page. A reference to Portuguese law does not restrict mandatory consumer protection or impose an unlawful exclusive jurisdiction. Future terms do not retrospectively change an accepted contract without a valid basis or agreement.
